The property sits on approximately 11.4 acres, and is developed around extensive lagoons, waterfalls, mature palms and flourishing plants. Interior courtyards feature additional waterfalls and gardens. A generous amount of free guest parking is available in front of each building. Duplexes and fourplexes have covered carport parking.

The 11 Mediterranean-style buildings consist of duplexes, fourplexes, and three-story
towers. The 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom designs each feature a spacious
living room with an abundance of windows, upscale island furnishings, a fully equipped
kitchen, laundry facilities, ample closet space, and a large master bathroom with separate tub
and shower. A sliding glass door opens onto a large wraparound
balcony with wet bar.
Amenities include a beautifully sculpted free-form swimming pool, whirlpool
spa, well-equipped workout room, recreation pavilion with kitchen facilities,
barbecue grills and two tennis courts.

Golfers will find the Shores well-situated on the rim of the Robert Trent Jones Beach
Course, with its clubhouse right outside the Shores entry gate, in addition to
Arnold Palmer´s Kings´ Course a short distance away. All Waikoloa Beach Resort
guests receive a discount at both courses.
Just across the street from the Shores is the Hilton Waikoloa Village for access to some fine restaurants, the world class Kohala Spa, and various activities such as Dolphin Quest. The nearest beach (Anaeho´omalu Bay) is within a lovely 15-minute walk or a short drive, and is great for snorkeling, diving, wind surfing and other sports. Further up on Waikoloa Beach Drive are two shopping centers, the Kings´ Shops and the Queens´ Marketplace, for a large selection of shops and restaurants along with a grocery store.
